Zombie Apocalypse Personality Test

The Walking Dead on AMC is the most realistic, intense, and gut-wrenching zombie apocalypse story ever told.  It combines multiple characters in compromised situations trying to survive as they struggle to cope with the realities of a world in which the living are the minority, and morality is almost impossible to determine.

Each character sees the world differently, and in order to survive they all may be inclined toward different choices. Tough choices.

Today AMC has posted a way to immerse you in the world to come, with a fast personality test built around the choices made by some of the characters of the show.  It can be found here.

If you have a zombie defense team, have them all take the test.  Find the strengths and weaknesses in your group.  Prepare each other for how you will deal with certain situations such as those brought up in the test.  Argue now and come to terms, before you have to make split-second decisions with walkers knocking down your door.

Stay alive, folks.

Top 10 Makeshift Office Weapons

Guest post by Firestarter

One of the most important keys to staying prepared for the imminent zombie invasion is creativity.  The ability to stay alive in situations that would leave the stupid and scared masses as dead meat (pun! shameless) is based on instinct and quick thinking.  If your mental image of the end of the world involves pipe bombs and automatic weapons simply lying behind like a red-neck christmas, you have another thing coming; namely a few million zombies.

So let's tackle this urban jungle Bear Grylls-style...but without any pee drinking, I promise. Weapons after the jump!

Zombie Outbreak Scenario #1

Setting the stage: You decide to take your sweetheart out for dinner and a movie.  It's a romantic comedy opening this week, and the theater is packed.  Shunning basic instincts about zombie escape plans, you embrace the event and park yourself smack in the middle of the theater to get that perfect seat.

Day 1 - We're Not Ready...Are You???

Optimism is key to surviving the zombie apocalypse
Hello, and congratulations on receiving this most epic URL, because that means that the necessary know-it-alls that started this website deemed you worthy to gain access to the protected secrets soon to be published here.  I say soon because, well, nobody's written anything yet.

I wanted to write about a week's worth of posts before writing this one, but life is a busy time and let's face it, I jump after procrastination like a life raft.  So I'm not ready (see title) with a ton of new posts, I just want to get this out there and see who thinks it's a good idea (or who thinks they'd rather be a zombie when it happens).

Because we're not all currently living within apocalyptic walkie-talkie range of each other, I thought it might be productive to chat it up here.  Share ideas, share questions, or anything else you think might make our transition to the potential end of the world as comfy and friendly as possible.  Starting new things like this is fun; hence the festive and inviting welcome mat I just rolled out for you.  Enjoy it, because hospitality in the apocalypse will be pretty rare...and probably more sarcastic.

Stay alive, folks.
